Gardner's Journey to Michigan State
Jameel Gardner, originally from Detroit, Michigan, and a product of Cass Tech, commenced his collegiate football career at Kent State. During his tenure there, he demonstrated promising talent, recording 24 receptions for 298 yards and a touchdown. Following his time at Kent State, Gardner transferred to Jackson State, where he further refined his skills and made a substantial impact.
Impactful Performance at Jackson State
At Jackson State, Gardner's performance continued to impress. In his initial season with the Tigers, he managed 12 catches for 145 yards. He followed this with a breakout year, securing 32 receptions for 483 yards and scoring two touchdowns. These statistics highlight his consistent development and capability as a key offensive asset.
A Veteran Addition to the Wide Receiver Group
Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 185 pounds, Gardner is projected to play a crucial role as an outside receiver for Michigan State.
